Allyship

Alllyship is a lifelong process of building relationships based on trust, consistency, and accountability with marginalized individuals and/or groups of people.

Capitol City Black Nurses Association was created to provide National collaboration and resources for Sacramento’s Black nurses and community. Although a large majority of our members identify as Black or African American, we are an inclusive organization. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization honored to serve in many different capacities revolving around the premise of reducing health disparities in the Black community. In addition to to the support we receive from our members, community allyship is crucial for our organization to fulfill our mission and vision in its entirety.
